We are open and able to fulfil orders. All available products are listed online. As we do not have access to our studio due to the social distancing measures in place, all custom orders are unavailable until further notice. Orders can only be shipped to UK addresses. All orders will be shipped using Royal Mail and will be dropped off at our local postbox. Please bear in mind that there are currently some delays in delivery so estimated delivery times may be increased. If you have any questions, just ask! What is Hall + Wade?
Hall + Wade is a jewellery design studio in Yorkshire, founded in 2019 by Jessica Thornton. Hall + Wade takes its name from Jessica's grandmothers Greta Hall and Barbara Wade. Find out more about Our Story.
I have sensitive ears - will I be able to wear your earrings?
All our stud earrings have sterling silver posts and scrolls and so are suitable for every ear. Our drop earrings have gold plated hooks. We only use food-safe wood waxes that are based on natural plant oils to treat our wooden materials.
The statement earrings seem quite large, will they fit securely and not pull on my ears?
The acrylics and woods that we use are all super lightweight which means we can produce larger statement earring designs without weighing down on earlobes. We can supply larger rubber earring backs with our earrings as some people, particularly those with stretched lobes, can find these more secure and comfortable. If you would like a pair of these, please just leave a request in the Notes section at checkout and we can pop these in free of charge with your order.
How will my jewellery be packaged?
Most of our jewellery comes in its own branded paper box made of 100% recycled materials. Orders are posted in 100% recyclable packaging so please reuse or just pop in your recycling bin.
What's the difference between 'Made to order' and 'Available now' products?
We have a selection of jewellery designs available. 'Available now' products are items we have in stock and can be shipped within 2 working days. 'Made to order' products are created from scratch once an order has been placed and so can take up to 7 days to be dispatched. Making some products to order reduces waste and material costs meaning we can be kinder to the environment and keep our prices lower.
What are my delivery options?
We offer FREE delivery on all orders within the UK.
Most orders are processed and dispatched within 2 working days of ordering. Please allow up to 7 days for 'Made to order' products.
UK customers have the option of two shipping rates:
Royal Mail 2nd Class (2-5 working days from dispatch) FREE
Royal Mail 2nd Class (2-5 working days from dispatch) £1.95
Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 working days from dispatch) £5.95
All European orders are posted with Royal Mail's International Tracked service with a charge of £8.95. Unfortunately we are currently unable to ship orders outside of Europe.

How can I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking details for your order (tracked services only).
Where is my order?
Depending on which shipping option you choose, UK orders can take up to 5 days from dispatch to arrive with you. If you have not received your order after this time, please get in touch and we'll look into it for you.
International orders can sometimes take up to 21 days to arrive with you depending on your location. If you are worried about where your order may be after 14 days please get in touch and we can check the tracking information for you.
I'm an international customer - will I have to pay customs and /or import charges?
If you are an international customer you may need to pay customs charges and /or taxes when your order arrives in your country. Please check with your country's custom and border control for more information on this. Unfortunately Hall + Wade cannot be responsible for any charges incurred when importing items into your country.
I've changed my mind, how do I return an item?
If you change your mind about an item, just drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We'll then authorise the return and send you the return postal address. Once we receive the item we will issue you a refund. Unfortunately postage costs cannot be refunded and due to hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns of earrings. My jewellery is damaged - what should I do?
All our jewellery is handcrafted with care in our Yorkshire studio. We understand that accidents can happen so if your item becomes damaged, please let us know as soon as possible, including a photo if possible, and we'll be in touch with a solution.
Can I exchange a present I've received?
If you would like to exchange a product please get in touch stating the design you would like to return and the design you would like instead. Once we have authorised the return we will send you the returns address. Once we have received the returned item we will then dispatch the replacement to you. You will be responsible for paying any difference in price between the two items as well as the postage for the new item. Unfortunately earrings cannot be exchanged due to hygiene reasons.

Do you sell gift vouchers?
Gift vouchers are available to purchase online. Our gift vouchers are digital - you will be emailed a discount code within 24 hours of purchase. If you would prefer a hard copy of your gift voucher to be posted out please get in touch and we can arrange this for you.
I'm purchasing an item as a gift and want it sending directly to the recipient. How can I make sure there's no receipt in the parcel?
If you are buying a gift for someone and having it posted directly to them, please write 'This is a gift' in the Notes section at checkout and we'll make sure there's no pricing information in the parcel.

Do you offer laser cutting services?
If you have a small scale laser cutting project in mind we may be able to help. From design to production we can produce laser cut and engraved items up to 35 x 25cm in a rang of acrylics and wood. Get in touch with details of your project and we can assess the feasibility and put together a quote for you.
